Biography
Candi Wilson has more than 22 years of experience working in Texas family law. As a paralegal, Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2008, Candi provides knowledgeable and steady support to clients facing significant changes in their families.
Candi’s perspective comes from personal experience as well as her professional career. Following the end of her 25-year marriage, she navigated divorce and established a positive co-parenting relationship. She also helped raise a daughter who, although not connected to her by birth or adoption, continues to consider Candi her mother. These experiences have deepened Candi’s understanding of the many ways families are formed—and of the emotional and practical concerns that can arise when family relationships change.
An Austin native, Candi has lived in Bastrop County since 1992. She has participated in professional paralegal organizations throughout her career and has a longstanding commitment to community service. Her charitable work began with a successful Relay for Life team benefiting the American Cancer Society and continues today through fundraising efforts supporting local families.
Outside the office, Candi enjoys traveling, attending live music and car-club events, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
